"For the Spring of Joy"

Oh You have

brought the spring

of joy!

You primped

our souls,

we cried.

You groomed

for a bouquet,

we plaint,

 a bloom.

We waited, not

but grumbled.

You smiled,

said,

"Won't you

bide,

for the spring

of joy?"
